About the Role

Hire Fellows is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to establish and lead a world-class finance function within a rapidly growing AI startup. This is a significant opportunity for an individual who excels in dynamic environments and wishes to collaborate closely with the CEO on the company's financial strategy. The role involves end-to-end ownership of the finance department, encompassing financial operations, planning, reporting, fundraising, and investor relations, while actively contributing to the company's growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support strategic planning and business decision-making.
  • Lead financial planning processes and deliver regular reporting and insights to the CEO and leadership team.
  • Support fundraising efforts by preparing investor materials, financial models, due diligence documentation, and financial forecasts.
  • Manage investor reporting and address financial inquiries from current and prospective investors.
  • Establish scalable financial processes, controls, and reporting systems to accommodate company growth.
  • Monitor business performance, identify financial risks and opportunities, and propose actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, operational planning, and business expansion.
  • Assist in the evaluation and execution of acquisitions, partnerships, and other corporate finance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup or a company undergoing scaling is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis.
  • Proven track record in supporting fundraising, investor relations, or capital raising activities.
  • Experience with mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, or strategic finance is highly desirable.
  • Advanced financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • A strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow management, and key business metrics.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • A highly organized, proactive approach with the ability to take ownership in a fast-paced environment.
  • A high level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential financial information.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A CPA, CFA, or MBA is considered a plus.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role operates within a dynamic startup environment, requiring close collaboration with the CEO and leadership team.
