About the Role

Fitch Learning, a leader in financial services training, is seeking an Associate Director, Data Science Trainer for its office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is for an experienced professional to contribute to the delivery of specialized financial training programs.

Role Context and Team

You will join the Data Science Training faculty, a global team focused on designing and delivering technical learning programs in data science, analytics, and applied quantitative skills. The team serves banks, financial institutions, corporates, regulators, and multilaterals through in-house, virtual, and public courses. Trainers are expected to attend the office regularly when not fulfilling training commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver high-quality training programs in data science, analytics, and related technical subjects for corporate and professional learners.
• Create engaging learning materials, including presentations, practical exercises, case studies, assessments, and supporting resources.
• Deliver training across multiple formats, including virtual, in-person, and blended learning environments.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical, and accessible learning experiences for diverse audiences.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of Fitch Learning’s data science curriculum and broader technical training portfolio.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, including product, sales, and client-facing teams, to support tailored learning solutions.
• Stay current on trends and developments in data science, analytics, machine learning, and learning design to ensure content relevance.
• Utilize learner and client feedback to continuously improve training quality, learner engagement, and program outcomes.
• Support business development efforts by contributing subject matter expertise to proposals, pitches, and client discussions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Strong subject matter expertise in data science, analytics, statistics, machine learning, or a related field.
• Experience designing and delivering training, teaching, facilitation, or professional learning programs in technical subject areas.
• Confidence presenting to a range of audiences and explaining complex concepts clearly and practically.
• Hands-on experience with relevant tools, programming languages, or data visualization platforms.
• Skill in developing high-quality, technically robust, and learner-focused learning content.
• Commercial awareness and ability to align learning solutions with client and market needs.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working across teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and quality.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

Additional Strengths

• Experience delivering training within financial services, banking, capital markets, or other highly regulated industries.
• Familiarity with applying data science concepts to commercial, credit, risk, or financial use cases.
• Experience developing customized training solutions for corporate clients.
• Knowledge of learning design best practices across digital, blended, and instructor-led formats.
• An advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
