General Manager Real Estate

About the Role

REEF Group is seeking a General Manager – Real Estate to lead its global real estate strategy. This full-time senior leadership position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing expansion planning, leasing activities, site development, and the property portfolio across multiple international markets. The role is critical for supporting the Group's rapid international growth in fragrance, beauty, fashion, and retail sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Group’s global real estate and retail expansion strategy.
• Lead market mapping to identify priority countries, cities, and commercial locations for expansion.
• Build short-term and long-term international expansion pipelines aligned with business strategy.
• Evaluate new markets and locations based on customer demographics, commercial potential, and financial returns.
• Lead the identification, evaluation, negotiation, and acquisition of new retail locations globally.
• Negotiate commercial terms with landlords, developers, and property owners, including lease agreements, renewals, and terminations.
• Manage and continuously review REEF Group’s international real estate portfolio, optimizing commercial efficiency.
• Develop real estate budgets, forecasts, and investment requirements, evaluating financial feasibility for new markets.
• Monitor global retail real estate trends, emerging markets, and competitor expansion.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Construction, Interior Design, Retail Operations, Finance, and Legal.
• Lead and develop the Real Estate and Leasing function, building a scalable team structure.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in international retail real estate.
• Demonstrated experience in real estate expansion, leasing, site acquisition, and portfolio management.
• Strong background in landlord negotiations and commercial evaluation of retail locations.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, multi-market environment.
• Experience managing complex expansion pipelines and working with executive leadership and cross-functional teams across different countries.
