The Graduate Engineering Trainee Role

Forbes Marshall Saudi Arabia is seeking a Graduate Engineering Trainee to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is designed for engineering graduates prepared for a career involving frequent travel across the Kingdom. The role emphasizes direct engagement at industrial sites and face-to-face client interaction, providing practical application of engineering knowledge. Trainees will work with cross-functional teams to master energy benchmarking and steam system performance, with a planned transition into a Technical Sales Engineer role focused on delivering advanced energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Travel frequently to various industrial sites, including petrochemicals, desalination, and manufacturing plants, to conduct plant surveys and gather data.
• Participate in a 4 to 6-month hands-on project focused on energy benchmarking and steam system evaluation.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to identify energy-saving opportunities and process optimizations for clients.
• Engage directly with plant managers and technical teams, addressing their queries and providing technical advice.
• Successfully complete the training project and transition into a Technical Sales role within the organization.

Required Qualifications

• A fresh engineering graduate (2025 or 2026 batch) with a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• 0-1 years of professional experience.
