About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Host/Hostess (Saudi Only) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to delivering high standards of hospitality. The role involves greeting guests, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and determine the number in their party.
• Seat guests efficiently at clean, available tables, ensuring chairs are pulled out and current menus are presented.
• Guide guests through dining areas and provide necessary assistance.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and settings to accommodate groups, including those with special needs.
• Verify that place settings are complete with napkins, clean silverware, and other standard items.
• Inspect menus for currency, cleanliness, quantity, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using "clean-as-you-go" procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
• Adhere to all company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
