About the Opportunity

Salt is partnering with a leading technology business in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to find a dedicated HR Compliance Leader National. This full-time role is crucial for supporting and expanding the client's Human Resources team, focusing specifically on ensuring robust HR compliance across their operations in the Kingdom.

Role Purpose and Context

The HR Compliance Leader National will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of HR compliance within Saudi Arabia. This involves a deep understanding of local labor laws and government regulations, ensuring the organization operates within established legal frameworks and best practices. The role serves as a key advisor and driver for compliance initiatives, contributing to the stability and integrity of HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage HR compliance for Saudi Arabia, ensuring strict adherence to Saudi Labor Law and relevant government regulations, including GOSI, MHRSD, and Saudization requirements.
  • Interpret regulatory changes and effectively translate them into actionable HR policies and operational processes.
  • Provide expert advisory services on all employee lifecycle matters, covering hiring, contracts, separations, disciplinary actions, benefits, and End-of-Service Benefits (EOSB).
  • Drive and execute internal audits, compliance reviews, and risk mitigation initiatives to maintain high standards of regulatory adherence.
  • Collaborate and partner with internal business units, legal, finance, and external stakeholders on compliance-related matters.
  • Manage compliance reporting, facilitate governance forums, and handle escalations effectively.
  • Support and contribute to localization initiatives within the HR framework.
  • Build and promote awareness regarding regulatory requirements among employees and management.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role must be a Saudi National with a proven track record in HR compliance. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience is required, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and government regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical HR solutions.

This role operates within a dynamic environment, requiring close collaboration with various internal departments, including business, legal, and finance teams, as well as external stakeholders. The position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is integral to maintaining the client's operational integrity and compliance standards within the technology sector.
