About the HR Intern Role

Richemont, a global leader in luxury goods with a focus on fine jewelry, watches, and premium accessories, is seeking an HR Intern to support its Human Resources department. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and offers an opportunity for individuals with 0-1 years of experience to apply their academic knowledge to practical HR projects and administrative tasks within a dynamic luxury environment.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The HR Intern will provide essential support to the HR department, leveraging academic learning on specific projects and subjects. This role involves assisting with a range of HR functions, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and supporting various HR initiatives.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing onboarding and offboarding processes, including vetting procedures and severance payment calculations.
  • Respond to and resolve HR-related queries from internal and external stakeholders, escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Support the management of internal client relationships and contribute to developing effective working relations.
  • Input and verify payroll data, prepare payroll for bank submission, and generate payroll reports.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of HR data by adhering to defined data entry procedures into HR information systems.
  • Conduct analyses of HR data to identify trends and contribute to HR insights that support business objectives.
  • Organize and maintain correspondence and records for senior colleagues.
  • Draft routine letters, memoranda, and reports following detailed instructions.
  • Support Talent Acquisition activities, including candidate sourcing and interview coordination.
  • Participate in assessment and development planning activities, as well as training and coaching sessions.
  • Develop an understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with recruitment software and social media platforms is considered a plus.
  • Previous experience in HR or recruitment is beneficial but not always required.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and HR information systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion principles.
