About Silk Road Gold Exploration and the Opportunity

Silk Road Gold Exploration is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join its headquarters in Riyadh. This full-time position is critical as the company is in its startup phase, requiring an individual with 2-5 years of experience who can independently manage and develop all HR operations. The role offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to building the HR department from the ground up, with a salary range of $2,000 - $3,000.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for the comprehensive execution and development of HR procedures. This includes establishing foundational HR frameworks and ensuring smooth, compliant operations across all personnel functions. The role demands a hands-on approach to manage the full spectrum of HR activities within a dynamic startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job postings and candidate screening to interviews, offer management, and onboarding processes.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation.
  • Prepare employment contracts and ensure accurate maintenance of employee records.
  • Oversee attendance, leave management, and employee file administration.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs and administer employee benefits.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Saudi Labor Law and internal company policies.
  • Handle all HR transactions through government platforms such as Qiwa, GOSI, Mudad, and Muqeem.
  • Support employee relations, performance management, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution.
  • Maintain comprehensive HR reports and personnel records with utmost confidentiality.
  • Coordinate training and employee development activities.
  • Support Saudization (Nitaqat) compliance and promote HR best practices.
  • Perform general HR and administrative duties as required in a startup setting.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of previous experience managing HR operations independently.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Labor Law and employment regulations.
  • Practical experience with government HR portals including Qiwa, GOSI, Mudad, and Muqeem.
  • Demonstrated experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll coordination, and general HR administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for HR functions.

Preferred Background

Experience gained within mining, construction, engineering, industrial, or manufacturing companies is considered an advantage for this role.
