About the Mobile App Support Role

HCLTech is seeking a qualified Mobile App Support Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves working with engineers to maintain high-quality mobile applications, supporting the entire application lifecycle from concept to release and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the complete application lifecycle, including concept, design, testing, release, and ongoing support.
• Produce fully functional mobile applications by writing clean code.
• Gather specific requirements and propose effective solutions.
• Write unit and UI tests to identify and resolve malfunctions.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
• Design user interfaces to enhance the user experience.
• Liaise with the Product Development team to plan new features.
• Ensure both new and legacy applications meet established quality standards.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Swift, Objective-C, Cocoa, Xcode, HTML, XML, and JSON.
• Experience with design patterns and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting iOS applications to back-end services.
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Knowledge of the app deployment process on the App Store.

Experience and Education

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in mobile app development and support.
• Strong knowledge of mobile app development principles and practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Additional Knowledge

Knowledge of Android development and hybrid mobile technologies such as Ionic and Flutter is considered a plus.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
