About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Lead for Workplace & Village Campus Development to oversee the strategic planning and execution of workspace and community environments in Riyadh Province. This full-time position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience and focuses on creating environments that foster collaboration, innovation, and well-being, aligning with the vision of a world-class entertainment destination.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary corporate authority for workplace matters, translating corporate objectives into spatial, technical, and operational requirements.
• Approve project briefs, employer’s requirements, and design gateways, while chairing technical review and design assurance forums.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.
• Embed workplace principles, occupancy strategies, and space planning standards within project delivery, validating master plan alignment with growth forecasts.
• Develop campus technical design standards and workplace guidelines.
• Review and challenge architectural, MEP, ICT, and security proposals, ensuring lifecycle cost optimization and value engineering without compromising quality.
• Oversee sustainability and energy performance objectives, and actively participate in stage-gate review frameworks.
• Monitor capital expenditure (CAPEX) governance and budget adherence, reviewing risk registers and mitigation strategies.
• Align project phasing with business continuity needs and define operational readiness criteria.
• Collaborate with Workplace Operations and Workplace Experience teams, overseeing commissioning and post-occupancy evaluations.
• Engage senior leadership across business units, oversee relocation and consolidation strategies, and manage cross-functional governance committees.
• Provide executive reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience delivering large-scale workplace or campus developments.
• Proven experience acting as a client-side representative.
• Experience across master planning, design, construction governance, and operational readiness.
• Track record of delivering developments of 100,000m2+ or multi-building campuses.
• Experience with office portfolio consolidation for 1,000+ occupants.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in the GCC / Saudi Arabia region.
• Exposure to giga-project environments.
• Familiarity with hospitality-integrated workplace models.
• Experience in complex multi-stakeholder corporate environments.
