About the Logistics Coordinator Role

BEC Arabia is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage project logistics operations in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience in construction logistics and plays a crucial role in supporting smooth construction activities by overseeing the movement of equipment, materials, and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive site logistics plans, including the efficient movement of equipment and materials. This involves coordinating the mobilization, demobilization, and precise positioning of heavy construction machinery such as cranes, loaders, excavators, and forklifts. The role requires close collaboration with Project Management, construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.

• Planning delivery schedules, taking into account site access, traffic management, and work constraints.
• Monitoring the availability and movement of heavy equipment across all project areas.
• Coordinating necessary permits, approvals, and access requirements for oversized or heavy loads.
• Managing laydown areas, storage zones, and the overall flow of materials on site.
• Ensuring strict compliance with project logistics and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
• Preparing detailed logistics reports, tracking records, and providing daily operational updates.
• Supporting lifting operations and heavy equipment activities by coordinating essential site requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience specifically within construction logistics is essential. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in coordinating heavy equipment and site operations, coupled with a solid understanding of construction equipment movement and general site logistics principles.
