About the Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking a Maintenance Engineer / Facilities Supervisor, Reliability Maintenance Engineering to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is focused on ensuring adherence to safety regulations and policies, conducting preventative maintenance to a high standard, and achieving high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement initiatives. The position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize health & safety best practices in all work, ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulations.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for FC assets, including material handling and automation systems.
• Act as a safety ambassador within the team and promote safe working practices across the site.
• Manage day-to-day engineering and soft services, including housekeeping and premises upkeep.
• Manage EHS and statutory compliance for the FC, including waste management and hazardous waste management as per bylaws, and timely renewal of licenses.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Oversee daily facility operations, including conveyor system maintenance.
• Supervise maintenance work and manage sub-contractors.
• Ensure the implementation of facility systems checks through a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Provide technical guidance for Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and Building & Building (BB) maintenance.
• Support technicians through motivation, knowledge sharing, and hands-on experience.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Experience in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, or Instrumentation and Controls.
• Proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for planning proactive maintenance and recording reactive tasks.
• Demonstrated experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various systems and components.

Technical Expertise

• Experience with relay logic, ladder diagrams, and controls components.
• Proficiency in working with sensors & scanners, motor starters, relays, and limit switches.
• Familiarity with electronic sensors, servo drives, frequency inverters, and linear drives.
• Competence in maintaining sorters and various mechanical components such as rolls, bearings, and belts.

• Ability to provide constructive feedback to enhance individual performance.
• Proven capability to prioritize and manage resources effectively under high-pressure conditions.

Work Environment

This role operates within a non-traditional shift pattern, which may include working nights and weekends to ensure continuous operational support for the facility.
