About SAS and the Role

SAS is a global leader in data and AI, enabling customers to transform data into intelligence. We are seeking a Manager Public Sector Sales Middle East to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. This full-time, hybrid position involves leading and developing a team of Account Executives, supporting current and prospective public sector customers across the Middle East in their Data & AI strategies and solution modernization efforts. The role focuses on driving growth by leveraging and building key relationships within the Public Sector market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve total software revenue targets and manage business objectives.
  • Plan and implement growth strategies for software, consulting, and education services.
  • Directly manage sales and sales support activities for staff to execute growth plans.
  • Develop and implement marketing, sales, and business development plans to exceed target levels.
  • Generate new business through strategic selling and managing key customer relationships.
  • Coordinate account strategies through communication with the sales management team.
  • Oversee staff hiring, direction, and evaluation.
  • Negotiate contracts and bids in conjunction with the Strategic Pricing Group.
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasting for software, consulting, and education services.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience, including:

  • Previous sales management experience within a software company, with experience in Saudi Arabia and ideally the UAE.
  • Experience addressing the Public Sector industry and defining a strong Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy in the Middle East.
  • Demonstrated management and coaching skills within a sales organization.
  • Proven track record of negotiation at the C-level.
  • Ability to manage, negotiate, and close multiple complex sales opportunities, potentially international.
  • Capacity to localize corporate strategy effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in both English and Arabic.

Benefits and Work Environment

The role operates within a hybrid model, providing flexibility, and is based from our Riyadh KSA office, with travel required as per business needs.
