About the Role

Acuative Middle East is seeking an experienced MPLS Engineer for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role focuses on executing complex network migration and implementation projects within Service Provider and Enterprise Networking environments.

Role Overview

The MPLS Engineer will be responsible for integrating network nodes into live production environments, validating solutions, and supporting large-scale MPLS and IP network deployments. The position requires a strong understanding of Service Provider technologies and a proven ability to manage network changes in carrier-grade settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute MPLS and IP network migration activities.
• Perform implementation and integration of network nodes.
• Stage hardware, software, and configurations prior to deployment.
• Prepare and execute Method of Procedures (MOPs) for network changes.
• Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of network solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess CCIE Service Provider-level knowledge and a minimum of 7 years of experience in Service Provider networks. Strong hands-on Routing & Switching experience is essential, along with practical experience on Cisco ASR9K, NCS5K/NCS540, and Catalyst platforms. Proficiency in Cisco IOS XR and IOS XE is required.

• CCIE Service Provider-level knowledge (mandatory).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Service Provider networks.
• Strong hands-on Routing & Switching experience.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ASR9K, NCS5K/NCS540, and Catalyst platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS XR and IOS XE.
• Expertise in MPLS, Segment Routing (SR), EVPN, L2VPN, L3VPN, LDP, TE, MP-BGP, IS-IS, and QoS.
• Strong understanding of OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, STP, and VTP.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCIE Service Provider certification.
• Experience with Juniper platforms and Junos OS.
• Experience working in large-scale Service Provider environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-facing skills.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires 5-10 years of experience.
