About the Operational Cost Controller Supervisor Role

Al-Ghomlas Trading Company is seeking an experienced Operational Cost Controller Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing cost control operations, analyzing financial performance, and ensuring alignment between actual and projected costs.

Role Objectives and Responsibilities

The primary objective of this role is to supervise cost control activities, identify and analyze cost deviations, and assess the variance between expected and actual expenditures. Key responsibilities include preparing comprehensive cost analysis reports, proposing actionable solutions to enhance cost efficiency and reduce expenses while maintaining product and service quality.

• Prepare and follow up on cost control and cost deviation analyses.
• Monitor cost performance and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost reduction.
• Develop and prepare cost control Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adherence to established cost control policies.
• Provide recommendations and solutions based on financial and cost control analysis.
• Support management in the preparation of financial forecasts and expectations.
• Supervise the implementation of cost control policies and drive operational improvements.
• Prepare periodic reports for senior management, detailing results and recommendations.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Management, or Business Administration. The role requires 5 to 7 years of experience in cost control or financial analysis, with a preference for experience in the manufacturing or trade sectors. Experience in preparing cost control-related KPIs is essential.

Work Environment and Compensation

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The company provides housing and transportation for the selected candidate. The salary range for this role is between 5,000 and 6,000 Saudi Riyal per month.
