About the Plant & Machinery (P&M) Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a dedicated professional for a Plant & Machinery (P&M) role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the strategic management and operational oversight of heavy equipment within project environments.

Role Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure optimal performance and availability of plant and machinery to support project execution schedules. The individual will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that cover the entire lifecycle of equipment, from planning and deployment to maintenance and compliance, directly contributing to operational efficiency and project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the site-level plant and machinery strategy, encompassing planning, mobilization, deployment, and maintenance to align with project execution timelines.
• Prepare comprehensive equipment requirement plans through close coordination with execution, planning, and procurement teams.
• Ensure the effective implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend operational life.
• Drive equipment performance metrics, including availability, utilization, fuel efficiency, and maintenance costs.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant safety standards, statutory requirements, and environmental norms pertaining to equipment operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
• In-depth knowledge of heavy equipment planning, operations, and maintenance principles.

Essential Skills and Proficiencies

• Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems), ERP systems, and various asset tracking tools.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking capabilities.
• Proven project leadership skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
