Role Overview

TAWANTECH is seeking a Product & Technology Expert Trade Finance (Corporate Banking) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires an experienced professional with deep expertise in Trade Finance within the Corporate Banking domain. The successful candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), facilitating collaboration between Business and Technology teams to drive product enhancements, digital transformation initiatives, and system implementations across Trade Finance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Product & Technology SME for Trade Finance solutions.
• Collaborate with Corporate Banking business users to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology teams.
• Support the implementation, enhancement, configuration, and optimization of Trade Finance systems.
• Partner with Development, Architecture, Product Management, and Operations teams to deliver business solutions.
• Lead product enhancement initiatives and support digital transformation projects.
• Participate in solution design, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), production support, issue analysis, and defect resolution.
• Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements and automation opportunities.
• Support system integration with SWIFT and other banking platforms.
• Ensure compliance with international Trade Finance standards and banking regulations.
• Provide functional guidance and consultation during implementation and upgrade projects.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Trade Finance within Corporate Banking.
• Strong business knowledge of Trade Finance products, including:
  • Letters of Credit (LCs)
  • Letters of Guarantee (LGs)
  • Documentary Collections
  • Import & Export Trade Finance
  • Document Checking / Document Examination
• Strong understanding of Trade Finance operational workflows.
• Experience working with SWIFT MT7xx messages and international trade processing.
• Experience collaborating with both Business and Technology teams.
• Hands-on experience in Trade Finance product implementation, configuration, or support.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Technical Experience

Experience with one or more of the following is highly preferred:

• Finastra Fusion Trade Innovation (FTI)
• Surecomp (DOKA)
• China Systems
• Eximbills
• Any Trade Finance Management Platform
• Banking integration solutions and APIs
• Digital Trade Finance transformation projects.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience in Corporate Banking digital transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of:
  • UCP 600
  • URDG 758
  • ISBP
  • ICC Trade Finance Rules
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional Agile teams.
