About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Recon Lead to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring financial accuracy and operational integrity by managing comprehensive reconciliation processes and driving the resolution of complex exceptions. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity.

Role Overview and Impact

The Recon Lead will be responsible for overseeing and executing daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations. This position requires a strong analytical mindset to perform in-depth analysis of discrepancies, identify root causes, and lead efforts to resolve them efficiently. The role is critical in maintaining financial control and supporting operational improvements within the firm.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation processes.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of reconciliations, identifying and deciphering complex exceptions between various systems and accounts.
• Perform root-cause analysis for existing exceptions and lead initiatives for their timely resolution.
• Analyze trends in exceptions, accurately enter data, and ensure proper aging and tracking.
• Communicate complex break reports effectively to internal groups within the firm and external correspondents, monitoring resolution progress.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly status reports detailing reconciliation activities and exception statuses.
• Contribute to the analysis of operational needs and provide valuable input for developing effective solutions.
• Execute all assigned tasks with strong attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to established deadlines.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within reconciliation activities and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiencies.
• Liaise with bank-wide vendors and stakeholders to facilitate the resolution of reconciliation breaks.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Recon Lead position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in reconciliation, financial operations, or a related analytical role. This experience should include a proven track record in managing complex financial data and driving resolution processes.
