About the Role

Master-Works is seeking a Release Manager for its subsidiary, Jadaya. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating software and application releases across various environments to ensure they are executed in a controlled, efficient, and low-risk manner, aligning with both business and technical objectives.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Release Manager will play a critical role in the software development lifecycle by managing the planning, coordination, and execution of application releases. This involves ensuring that all release activities are properly managed and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

• Planning and coordinating application releases across multiple environments.
• Managing deployment schedules and maintaining release calendars.
• Ensuring adherence to proper change management processes, including approvals and communication.
• Coordinating effectively between business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
• Managing release-related risks, developing rollback plans, and overseeing production readiness activities.
• Monitoring post-release activities to ensure successful implementation and stability.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in release management and a solid understanding of software development and IT service delivery principles. The required experience level indicates a need for a seasoned professional.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in release management, change management, or IT service delivery.
• A strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps principles, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Proven experience with release management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• An ITIL certification is preferred.
