About the Role

CNTXT AI is seeking a Robotics Data Collector to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position supports the development of next-generation AI systems by collecting high-quality robotics and egocentric data. The role involves hands-on work with robotic systems and sensors to capture multimodal datasets essential for training advanced AI models, including embodied AI and Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute data collection tasks for robotics and egocentric data using cameras and various sensors (*, IMU, depth cameras).
• Follow predefined scenarios and protocols to ensure consistent and accurate recording of actions, interactions, and environments.
• Assist in operating robotic systems (humanoid or mobile robots) during data collection activities.
• Support the setup and calibration of cameras, sensors, and recording systems.
• Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of hardware during experiments.
• Review collected data for completeness, clarity, and accuracy, flagging any issues such as missing data or recording errors.
• Adhere to quality guidelines to ensure data usability for AI training.
• Prepare environments for data collection sessions and execute specific tasks like object manipulation, navigation, and human-robot interaction recordings.
• Maintain records of data collection sessions, equipment usage, and encountered issues.
• Provide feedback to improve data collection processes and protocols.
• Follow all lab safety protocols and operational guidelines, handling equipment with care.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in data collection, field operations, or lab environments.
• Experience in technical or hardware-related roles.
• Comfort working with cameras, sensors, and recording devices.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with robotics systems or hardware environments.
• Familiarity with egocentric or first-person data collection.
• Familiarity with computer vision or AI-related datasets.
• Basic understanding of robotics concepts.
