About the Role

Maison Alaïa is seeking a dedicated Sales Associate to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the brand's presence and client experience within a luxury retail environment.

Sales Performance and Client Engagement

The Sales Associate will play a key role in driving sales and fostering strong client relationships. This involves actively working towards achieving monthly store targets, increasing average transaction value and quantity, and developing cross-selling strategies. A thorough understanding of Ready-to-Wear and Accessories, including their construction and terminology, is essential. The role also requires delivering the distinctive ALAÏ customer experience, representing the brand with the highest standards, and promoting ALAÏ’s name and image within the boutique.

  • Achieve monthly store sales targets as part of the team.
  • Increase average transaction value (ATV) and units per transaction (UPT).
  • Develop and implement cross-selling initiatives.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of RTW and Accessories construction and vocabulary.
  • Welcome clients in the boutique, over the phone, and via email, adhering to ALAÏ standards.
  • Develop and maintain the client book and update the customer database.
  • Cultivate client loyalty through excellent service and personalized treatment.
  • Reinforce client relationships through consistent follow-up.

Boutique Operations and Brand Representation

Operational excellence and brand ambassadorship are integral to this role. The Sales Associate will actively participate in team meetings, events, and inventory counts, contributing to the smooth daily operations of the boutique. Maintaining the highest standards of product display, ensuring boutique cleanliness and tidiness, and adhering to security protocols are also key responsibilities. A deep understanding of product knowledge, trends, and collections is required, alongside adherence to ALAÏ grooming standards and effective collaboration with partners and teams.

  • Participate actively in team meetings, events, and inventory counts.
  • Ensure displays meet the highest standards in line with boutique guidance.
  • Maintain boutique cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
  • Adhere to and apply all security rules and mindset.
  • Maintain an excellent level of product knowledge, including understanding products, trends, and collections.
  • Follow ALAÏ grooming guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with partners and internal teams.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a background in luxury retail and demonstrate exceptional client service standards. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are crucial. The role also requires the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
