About the Role

MATCH Hospitality is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is crucial for generating new business opportunities and supporting the commercial growth of the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™.

Role Overview

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying prospective clients, conducting outbound prospecting, managing inbound inquiries, and securing meetings with key decision-makers. This role is designed for an ambitious sales professional aiming to build a career in sports, hospitality, and premium event sales. You will report to the KSA Sales Lead and collaborate closely with Sales Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential corporate clients, government entities, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and hospitality buyers across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns via phone, email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, networking events, and referrals.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on predefined sales criteria and customer profiles.
  • Schedule meetings and product presentations for Sales Managers and the KSA Sales Lead.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities, opportunities, and customer interactions within Salesforce CRM.
  • Build and manage prospect databases across priority sectors including banking, government, energy, telecoms, aviation, consulting, hospitality, media, and entertainment.
  • Support lead generation initiatives, sales campaigns, and marketing activities.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects through structured multi-touch outreach cadences.
  • Assist with hospitality product launches, roadshows, networking events, and client activations.
  • Provide regular reporting on outreach activity, meetings booked, lead conversion rates, and pipeline generation.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, CRM, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay informed on AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027™ products, hospitality offerings, pricing, and market development.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales, business development, lead generation, customer success, hospitality, events, or a related commercial role.
  • Fluent communication skills in both Arabic and English (written and verbal).
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and conducting proactive prospecting activities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and eager to develop a career in sales.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment.

Key Performance Indicators

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • Number of outbound touchpoints completed.
  • Qualified meetings booked.
  • Qualified opportunities generated.
  • Pipeline value generated.
  • CRM data quality and activity compliance.
  • Lead response and follow-up times.
  • Conversion of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs).
