About the Role

SAS, a leader in data and AI, is seeking a Senior Account Executive specializing in the Financial Services Industry (FSI), specifically Banking & Insurance, for its Riyadh office. This full-time position involves helping clients and prospects shape their data and AI strategies and modernize their solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of business challenges within the FSI sector and the ability to present SAS solutions effectively to drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve software revenue targets and manage business objectives for assigned accounts.
  • Engage with targeted customers and prospects to position SAS solutions.
  • Develop strategies for modernizing customer engagement with strategic clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level business decision-makers, influencing long-term strategies.
  • Provide expertise in industry, business, and marketing technology to close deals.
  • Support lead generation activities and integrate strategies into account plans, qualifying opportunities based on business and technical fit.
  • Develop opportunities and create compelling proposals to articulate the value of SAS solutions, collaborating with internal teams.
  • Support the closure of complex sales and assist with pricing and licensing negotiations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience selling complex SaaS solutions and services to business and IT stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying and solving business challenges within the FSI sector, working with customers, channel partners, and cloud providers.
  • Demonstrated experience in account mapping and navigating complex ecosystems.
  • Ability to analyze territory dynamics, develop sales plans, and communicate technical and business concepts.
  • Knowledge of complex SaaS solution sales, with a preference for data analytics, AI, and Generative AI. Awareness of SAS solutions is preferred.
  • Experience in Risk, Compliance, Fraud, Customer Onboarding, or other banking and insurance subjects.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English.
  • An equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered.
