About the Senior Account Executive Role

Blue Yonder is seeking a highly energetic and knowledgeable Senior Account Executive to join its MEA team, with a specific focus on the public sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a professional with a passion for supply chain solutions and a proven track record in software sales. The ideal candidate will drive new business acquisition and expand Blue Yonder's presence within new accounts.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a Senior Account Executive, you will be instrumental in identifying and generating new sales opportunities within prospective customers. This involves building strong business relationships, understanding client needs, and developing comprehensive account plans and strategies to increase Blue Yonder's market penetration. You will operate as an individual contributor, targeting opportunities, formulating account-specific sales strategies, and closing new business.

  • Serve as the primary contact for identifying, prioritizing, pursuing, and closing expansion opportunities within new customers, while maintaining end-to-end client relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and ensure balanced growth.
  • Cultivate relationships with new clients, manage the sales pipeline, prospect effectively, and advance multiple transactions concurrently.
  • Communicate progress on initiatives to internal and external stakeholders, coordinating resources such as Customer Success Managers and Sales Engineers to maximize client value.
  • Establish positive client relationships by demonstrating expertise in their requirements and delivering value through counsel, solutions, and implementation knowledge.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of each account's strategic growth plans, technology strategies, and competitive landscape, staying informed on industry trends through public information.
  • Create and maintain actionable account plans to guide strategy development and identify new business opportunities, leading account relationships, persona profiling, and sales cycles.
  • Oversee all commercial activities within accounts and across regions, owning the end-to-end relationship and client success.
  • Develop and present comprehensive business plans addressing customer priorities and challenges, utilizing value justification, benchmarking, and ROI data.
  • Demonstrate proficiency and working knowledge across all Blue Yonder products and solutions.
  • Negotiate new contract terms for all SaaS renewals.

Qualifications and Experience

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of sales experience in enterprise software for a high-growth company.
  • Proven business acumen and revenue forecasting capabilities in an Account Management or Sales Executive capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute strategic customer roadmaps.
  • Successful experience in influencing and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the Supply Chain industry, ideally across manufacturing, retail, and FMCG sectors.
  • A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ideally, fluency in both Arabic and English languages.

Location and Work Environment

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is part of a vibrant and successful team operating within the Middle East and Africa region, with a dedicated focus on the public sector.
