Senior Architect Engineer

ECEC East Consulting Engineering Company is seeking a Senior Architect Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for an experienced professional with a focus on architectural project oversight and coordination.

Job Purpose

The Senior Architect Engineer is responsible for the technical review, supervision, and coordination of architectural works. This role ensures compliance with approved IFC drawings, project specifications, quality requirements, and applicable codes and standards throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and other technical submissions.
• Supervise architectural and finishing works, verifying compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and materials.
• Review architectural mock-ups, finishes, samples, and workmanship on site.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, landscape, interior, façade, and other relevant disciplines.
• Review Requests for Information (RFIs) and resolve design, constructability, interface, and site-related technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections and review Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and other inspection documentation.
• Monitor contractor performance, project progress, quality standards, and adherence to project requirements.
• Identify design discrepancies and multidisciplinary clashes, recommending practical technical solutions.
• Review Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and verify the implementation of corrective actions.
• Participate in technical, progress, and coordination meetings.
• Review as-built drawings, snagging/punch lists, and project close-out documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in architectural engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to review and supervise architectural works for large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of project specifications, quality requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
