About the Senior Business Analyst Role at FNRCO

FNRCO is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience and is crucial for shaping the user experience and interface design of front-end applications, particularly within a banking context. The role combines expertise in prototyping, cross-team collaboration, user feedback, and design excellence to develop best-in-class applications for the bank.

Core Function and Strategic Impact

The Senior Business Analyst will analyze and articulate all IT-related requirements initiated by the business, documenting them clearly and concisely through detailed business requirements, flow charts, mockups/wireframes, and other organizational tools. A key aspect of this role involves suggesting solutions to improve existing processes and guiding business units to maximize the usage of current business systems. The analyst serves as a vital bridge between IT and Business units, collaborating to ensure provided solutions are optimally used and consistently meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare user manuals and process flow diagrams for product processes.
Perform a techno-functional role to understand business requirements, underlying solutions, possible implementations, and identify limitations.
Prototype features and designs from high-level requirements to support agile prioritization, discussion, and delivery.
Nurture design standards by applying customer experience best practices, libraries, and frameworks to produce high-quality design and deliver exceptional user experience.
Maintain rigorous standards of design excellence, ensuring interfaces are both functional and visually intuitive.
Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative design practices to maintain applications as best-in-class productivity tools.
Engage in cross-team collaboration with product owners, developers, and users to deliver design solutions aligned with business objectives and user needs.
Bridge the gap between business units and external vendors when sourcing external vendor solutions, detailing requirements, and ensuring proper understanding by the vendor.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably within the banking sector.
Demonstrated expertise in the Banking domain, with hands-on experience in Corporate Banking, e-Channels, Cash Management, and Payments.
Expertise in writing requirement documents such as BRDs, Use Cases, EPIC/User Stories in both business and technical language.
Understanding of the end-to-end Program/Project lifecycle and its various stages.

Technical and Analytical Skills

Proficiency in Visio or similar tools for designing business models, architecture, and solution diagrams.
Proficiency in Jira, Rally, or similar tools for requirement management and project lifecycle management.
Strong analytical skills to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable IT requirements.
