Key Responsibilities

The Senior Engineer Structures will be responsible for a range of technical and administrative tasks, including:

• Performing structural computations for the design and analysis of concrete, steel, and other miscellaneous structures.
• Developing analysis models and interpreting results for 2D and 3D structural frames.
• Assisting with construction administration duties, such as conducting site visits and reviewing shop drawings.
• Understanding load paths for gravity and lateral loads and calculating applicable loads according to relevant building codes.
• Supporting the structures team in preparing design drawings, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, specifications, and other project deliverables.
• Preparing technical studies and reports.

Required Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Between 6 and 11 years of relevant professional experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Additional Skills and Experience

Experience with software such as Revit, Rhino, or Grasshopper is considered a valuable asset for this role.

Work Environment and Collaboration

This role requires close collaboration with a team of Structural Engineers and/or Project Managers. A commitment to working effectively within a team environment and adhering to established company standards is essential.
