About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Specialist - General Ledger to join its finance team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time position is integral to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Specialist - General Ledger will be responsible for a range of critical accounting functions. This includes:

• Managing and overseeing general ledger operations, including journal entry processing and account reconciliations.
• Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external auditors during periodic audits.
• Identifying and promptly resolving discrepancies in financial records.
• Assisting in the enhancement of accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Staying current with accounting regulations and standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in general ledger or accounting roles.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, such as IFRS or GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
• A professional certification, such as CPA, is considered advantageous.
