About the Role

Buruoj Engineering Consultant is seeking a skilled Site Surveyor to join our team in the Makkah Region, specifically in Makkah. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in surveying, particularly within large-scale construction projects.

Role Overview

The Site Surveyor will be responsible for ensuring all surveying tasks are executed with precision, within established timelines, and in strict adherence to design specifications and regulatory requirements. This role is critical in maintaining the accuracy of construction data and ensuring compliance throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting precise surveys of construction sites, including measurements of land, elevations, and existing structures.
• Collecting and meticulously recording data related to land boundaries and site topography.
• Setting out the positions for proposed buildings, roads, and other features according to approved plans and coordinates.
• Collaborating closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure alignment between survey findings and construction plans.
• Ensuring the accuracy and quality of all surveying data, identifying and resolving any measurement discrepancies.
• Preparing and submitting detailed survey reports, including maps, drawings, and data analysis, to support construction activities and regulatory compliance.
• Verifying that all surveying activities comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and industry standards.
• Assisting in the oversight of site conditions, identifying potential hazards, and promoting a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Site Surveyor, with a preference for experience in large-scale and mall construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, instruments (such as Total Stations, GPS), and data collection methodologies.
• Proficiency in surveying and mapping software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar applications.
• Relevant certifications in surveying or geomatics are considered an advantage.

Required Skills and Availability

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with team members and stakeholders.
• The candidate must be available to join the team within a maximum of one month from the offer acceptance date.
