About the Role

Penta Consulting, a technology service provider and outsourced partner, is seeking a SOC Architect for a contract position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role requires fluency in Arabic.

Role Overview

The SOC Architect will be responsible for the comprehensive design, implementation, and optimization of Security Operations Center (SOC) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms. This position involves defining and developing security use cases and detection logic to enhance the organization's security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture of SOC and SIEM platforms, from initial design through deployment and ongoing optimization.
• Design and implement SIEM solutions, including strategies for log ingestion, parsing, correlation, alerting, and data retention.
• Define, develop, and implement SOC use cases and detection logic, aligning with established threat frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience working as a SOC Architect, SIEM Architect, or Senior SIEM Engineer.
• Deep hands-on expertise with SIEM technologies including, but not limited to, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar, or Elastic.
• A strong understanding of SOC operations, incident response processes, and security workflows.

Desirable Experience

• Experience within enterprise or managed security service provider environments.
• Familiarity with security services offered by cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, GIAC, Azure Security Engineer, Splunk Certified Architect, or equivalent.
