About the Role

This full-time position involves designing, building, testing, and maintaining robust software and system solutions. Job Purpose

The primary objective of this role is to ensure high-quality and stable production software. This will be achieved through the application of sound system design principles, scalable architecture, automated testing, CI/CD practices, and continuous performance optimization. The Software Systems Engineer will enable teams to reliably and efficiently ship features within the Riyadh operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing software design and architecture.
• Engaging in programming using Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Developing APIs and microservices.
• Working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Utilizing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Conducting automated testing, including unit and integration tests.
• Tuning system performance and ensuring scalability.
• Applying problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Using version control systems, specifically Git.
• Producing clear communication and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience in building and integrating APIs and microservices.
• Proficiency with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience in testing (unit and integration) and maintaining low-defect services.
• System design experience with a focus on reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git.
• Ability to document architecture and technical decisions.
