We are currently seeking a Sr. Architect (Saudi National) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a full-time position.

The Senior Architect Position

The Sr. Architect will be responsible for developing and reviewing architectural designs for heritage and urban development projects. This role involves ensuring design alignment with project visions, master plans, urban design principles, and critical heritage conservation requirements. The position requires a Saudi National with extensive experience in architectural design, review, and coordination, contributing to the successful delivery of significant architectural initiatives in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review architectural designs, drawings, specifications, and technical documents for heritage and urban development projects.
• Ensure architectural designs are aligned with the project's vision, master plan, urban design principles, and heritage conservation requirements.
• Review consultant and contractor submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and method statements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including Urban Planning, Landscape, Structural, MEP, BIM, and Infrastructure disciplines.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor construction quality, design compliance, and adherence to approved drawings and specifications.
• Support restoration, rehabilitation, adaptive reuse, and conservation of heritage buildings and culturally significant assets.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), MOMRA regulations, accessibility standards, and applicable heritage authority requirements.
• Participate in value engineering, constructability reviews, and design optimization while preserving heritage character.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during design and construction phases.
• Review material selections, architectural finishes, façade treatments, and conservation methodologies.
• Prepare technical reports, design review comments, inspection reports, and progress updates.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities throughout project delivery.
• Support BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design integration.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and project delivery, with a focus on heritage and urban development projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in architectural design review, technical documentation, and site supervision.
• Proficiency in ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and heritage conservation standards.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with diverse multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• This position is open to Saudi Nationals only.
