Cipher is seeking a Sr. Cybersecurity Architecture Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. Role Overview

The Sr. Cybersecurity Architecture Specialist will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing robust security architectures. This position involves ensuring that security principles are integrated into all aspects of the company's digital services and client solutions, with a particular focus on aligning with regulatory frameworks such as SAMA CSF.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and review enterprise security architecture in alignment with SAMA CSF and relevant industry standards.
• Develop and implement security-by-design principles across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Lead security architecture transformation initiatives, particularly within banking environments.
• Design and implement zero-trust architecture frameworks.
• Conduct security assessments for critical systems and applications.
• Develop security reference architectures for cloud and digital transformation projects.
• Provide expert recommendations to mitigate architectural risks.
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders across IT, security, and business teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SAMA CSF and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as SABSA and TOGAF.
• Proven experience in cloud security and zero-trust architecture implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, TOGAF, AWS Security, or ISO 27001 are highly regarded.
