About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Sr. Lead - DC & Passive Design to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading the design and implementation of data centers and passive systems across various projects. The role requires a professional who can contribute to the development of sustainable and efficient infrastructures.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Sr. Lead - DC & Passive Design will play a pivotal role in supporting Qiddiya's vision to establish a world-class entertainment and cultural destination. This involves ensuring that all data center and passive system designs align with project objectives, industry standards, and sustainability goals, thereby contributing to the foundational infrastructure of Qiddiya's ambitious developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of data center (DC) architectures, integrating technology to ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
• Oversee the design of passive systems, including HVAC, electrical, and structural components, ensuring alignment with project objectives and industry standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create design solutions that meet user needs and sustainability goals.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to inform decision-making and design approaches.
• Establish and maintain design protocols and standards to ensure quality and consistency across all projects.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, ensuring deliverables are met on schedule.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers, fostering professional development.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry trends to drive solutions within the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in data center and passive systems design.
• Demonstrated experience in leading design and implementation projects for complex infrastructure.
