About Dallah Hospital and the Role

Dallah Hospital, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Strategy Analyst for a full-time position. This role supports the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) in advancing the organization's strategic agenda, translating vision into measurable outcomes, and ensuring the effective execution of the strategic plan across all departments.

Role Overview

The Strategy Analyst serves as the analytical and operational backbone of the Corporate Strategy function. This position involves continuously monitoring, rigorously analyzing, and effectively executing the strategic plan. The incumbent utilizes the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) framework, advanced data analysis, and structured process improvement project tracking to bridge executive-level strategic intent with day-to-day organizational performance, enabling timely, evidence-based decisions that advance the organization's mission to deliver high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the CSO in the annual and multi-year strategic planning cycle.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental strategy alignment workshops, ensuring business unit objectives are linked to the enterprise strategic plan.
  • Own the design, development, and continuous refinement of the organizational Balanced Scorecard (BSC) across Financial, Customer, Internal Processes, and Learning & Growth perspectives.
  • Prepare and present high-level strategic performance reports, including KPI dashboards, variance analyses, and executive scorecards, for the CSO, C-Suite, and Board of Directors.
  • Translate enterprise-level strategic objectives into departmental scorecards and operational targets, ensuring vertical and horizontal alignment.
  • Engage with senior leadership and cross-functional heads to gather data, validate strategic assumptions, and build organizational buy-in for strategic initiatives.
  • Identify strategic-level risks, trends, and deviations, providing analytical recommendations and escalating critical issues with supporting evidence and proposed corrective actions.
  • Identify capability gaps in strategic thinking and BSC application, advising on training needs and contributing to strategic literacy programs.
  • Perform advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis on clinical, operational, and financial datasets to identify trends, performance gaps, and strategic opportunities, translating complex data into executive-level insights.
  • Design the KPI framework, define measures and targets, and build the architecture of dashboards and visual reports using Tableau or Power BI.
  • Build financial models, conduct scenario analyses, and perform cost-benefit and ROI assessments to support strategic investment decisions and recommendations to the CSO.
  • Maintain oversight of the strategic project portfolio, monitoring alignment of all initiatives with the BSC and strategic objectives, and identifying portfolio-level risks and strategic gaps.
  • Conduct impact assessments and cost-benefit analyses for process improvement initiatives, evaluating post-implementation outcomes and integrating findings into the BSC and strategic reporting.
  • Author strategic presentations, memos, and briefing documents for the CSO, C-Suite, and Board, and lead preparation of materials for strategic planning retreats and board-level performance reviews.
  • Attend strategic steering committees and executive meetings as an analytical resource, contributing insights and following up on strategic action items.
  • Respond to time-sensitive analytical requests from the CSO and executive team, conducting rapid research and structured analysis to inform urgent strategic decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 4–6 years of experience in data analysis, business strategy, or strategic planning roles. Healthcare sector experience is a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (*, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience working in structured environments with multiple stakeholders.

Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field (required).
  • Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) (strongly preferred).
  • Certification in project analysis, business analytics, or project management (*, KPI, OKR, BSC) (preferred).
  • Certifications in strategy, analytics, or performance management (*, BSC Professional, OKR, PMP, Data Analytics) (preferred).

Required Skills

  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills in both Arabic and English (verbal and written).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to prepare clear reports, meeting minutes, and maintain accurate records.
  • Time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic knowledge of IT service workflows and healthcare IT systems is desirable.
  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
