About the Role

W Hotels is seeking a dedicated Tailor & Wardrobe Attendant to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is essential for maintaining the appearance of both guest clothing and employee uniforms, ensuring high standards of presentation and service within the hotel environment.

Core Responsibilities

• Mend, repair, and alter guest clothing and employee uniforms using hand stitching, adhesive patches, or a sewing machine.
• Distribute clean uniforms to personnel in accordance with company specifications.
• Send damaged uniforms to the appropriate location or vendor for necessary repairs.
• Document guest requests for laundry, dry cleaning, minor repair, and pressing of garments.
• Record the distribution, return, and cleaning status of all assigned and unassigned uniforms.
• Inspect uniforms for damage, remove substandard items from circulation, and issue replacements as needed.

Operational Standards and Professional Conduct

• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance at all times.
• Ensure the confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Communicate with colleagues and guests using clear and professional language.
• Ensure all tasks are performed in adherence to established quality expectations and standards.

Guest and Team Engagement

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, offering support to achieve common goals.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• Education: No high school diploma or *** equivalent is required.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None required.

The role requires the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift. It also involves moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
