About the UH60M Instructor Pilot Role

V2X Inc is seeking a qualified UH60M Instructor Pilot for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role involves providing advanced instruction and training for UH60M aircrew, ensuring adherence to US Army standards and customer-specific requirements.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Instructor pilots are responsible for delivering comprehensive UH60M training, encompassing initial ATP integration, continuation training, Initial Aircraft Qualification Courses (AQC), and Aircraft Qualification Training (AQT). This includes evaluating employee and customer crewmembers against the US Army Aircrew Training Manual (ATM) and the MNG Modernization Training Plan. Duties involve conducting academic and hands-on performance training, administering evaluations to confirm aircrew proficiency, and meticulously maintaining Individual Aircrew Training Folders (IATFs) with all necessary training, currency, and readiness entries. Instruction will be delivered in classroom settings, as well as in the aircraft and flight training devices, covering basic instrument, night vision goggle (NVG), and basic combat skills training to meet US Army standards.

  • Train and evaluate Aviation pilots in the UH60M aircraft according to US Army ATM and specific unit ATP guidelines.
  • Support the development and execution of an Aviation Aircrew Training Program as per customer guidance.
  • Verify and confirm the currency and completeness of all required flight training publications.
  • Conduct and evaluate individual readiness level progression tasks, including instrument flight tasks during day, night, Night Vision System (NVS), and Night Vision Goggle (NVG) operations under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR).
  • Prepare crewmembers through realistic mission training flight maneuvers under local environmental conditions, including dust landings and weather-specific desert training.
  • Provide aircrew proficiency training in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC) within and outside controlled airspace, adhering to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and/or International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) flight rules.
  • Attend meetings as required by Customers.
  • Recommend aviation instructor pilot and Pilot in Command appointments to customer leadership.
  • Attend and provide training and mission planning input to weekly scheduling meetings based on ATP requirements.
  • Act as an ATP mentor within the company standardization and battalion standardization team as needed by the customer, including Master Gunner training and mentorship.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship for field exercises at tenant locations.
  • Perform instructor pilot duties at offsite locations as required by customer needs.
  • Execute duties and responsibilities within broad guidelines, with significant choice of methods.
  • Possess the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.
  • May be assigned as project lead to support program goals, including technical writing of aviation documents, under the guidance of the PWS.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by management.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in a related field is beneficial.
  • Must have been qualified as a Pilot in Command.
  • Graduate of the UH60M Instructor Pilot Course (IPC)/Methods of Instruction (MOI) course at an authorized * Army Aviation Proponent School, or an IP equivalency evaluation administered by a standardization instructor pilot (SP) selected by the Directorate of Evaluations and Standardization (DES).
  • Qualified on the UH60 M Series Aircraft.
  • Minimum of 1500 total flight hours (total time).
  • Minimum of 500 flight hours of Instructor Pilot time.
  • FAA Commercial Pilot certificate required.
  • FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) is recommended.
  • Must successfully pass the FAA Class II Flight Physical upon hire and annually thereafter.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh. The role may require travel to offsite locations for training and duties as dictated by customer needs.
