About Saipem and the Process Engineer Role

Saipem is a global leader in the engineering and construction of major projects for the energy and infrastructure sectors, both offshore and onshore. We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team in Dhahran, Eastern region, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity to contribute to significant projects within our Asset Based Services Business Line.

Purpose of the Position

As a Process Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Process Engineering department within the Asset Based Services Business Line. Working under the supervision of a Process Lead, you will collaborate with a process team to elaborate, define, size, and validate various items, units, and technical deliverables for implementation in projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Heat and Material Balances using simulation software.
• Develop Process Flow Diagrams to illustrate unit operations necessary for converting feedstocks into on-specification products.
• Define and size Equipment and Instrumentation for implementation, and issue relevant Process Data Sheets.
• Elaborate Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• Perform hydraulic and thermal calculations on piping systems, covering both steady state and transient operations.
• Define utility requirements and design the associated systems.
