Role Overview

Jobskey Search and Selection is seeking an Executive Pastry Chef to lead comprehensive pastry and bakery operations in Al Madinah, Medina. This full-time position requires an experienced and creative professional with a strong background in developing innovative pastry and bakery concepts, creating menus, maintaining high quality standards, and effectively leading culinary teams. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in a senior pastry role.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee all pastry and bakery operations, ensuring consistent quality and presentation across all products.
Create, develop, and continuously improve pastry and bakery menus in alignment with brand concepts and customer expectations.
Develop new and innovative pastries, desserts, breads, cakes, and a variety of bakery products.
Establish precise recipes, portion standards, presentation guidelines, and production specifications.
Lead, mentor, and develop pastry chefs, bakers, and supporting kitchen staff.
Monitor food costs, portion control, wastage, and overall production efficiency.
Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and F&B management on menu planning and product development initiatives.
Research current pastry, bakery, and dessert trends to introduce new concepts where appropriate.
Ensure strict compliance with all food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and health regulations.
Manage pastry and bakery production schedules effectively according to business requirements.
Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers to ensure the availability and quality of all necessary ingredients and materials.
Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards across all pastry and bakery products.
Train and develop team members to ensure strong technical skills and consistent execution of culinary tasks.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced and creative Executive Pastry Chef with a proven track record in culinary innovation and team leadership. This position demands a professional who can consistently maintain high standards of quality and presentation while effectively managing operational efficiency and cost control. Strong collaboration skills with F&B management are essential for success.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience of 5-10 years as an Executive Pastry Chef, Head Pastry Chef, or a similar senior culinary leadership role.
Experience within high-end hospitality, luxury hotels, resorts, restaurants, or premium F&B concepts is preferred.
