About the Role

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Storekeeper to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position open exclusively to Saudi nationals, with an experience requirement of 0-1 years. The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing merchandise, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining inventory levels to support departmental operations.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking items appropriately for placement within the facility.
Deliver merchandise to the designated departments and stack received goods on pallets or carts.
Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and notify management of low stock levels in a timely manner.
Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
Inspect deliveries and date items to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality across all case lots.
Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures in all food-related areas.
Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in proper storage areas.

Workplace Conduct and Safety

Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
Complete all required safety training and certifications.
Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
Communicate with guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support the team in achieving common goals.
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Capacity to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
Ability to navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and service ramps.
