About the Role

TASNEE, through its operating entity AMIC-TOHO TITANIUM METAL Company, is seeking a dedicated Engineer, Reliability. This full-time position is based in Yanbu, Al Madinah, KSA, and reports directly to the Superintendent, Reliability & Engineering. The role focuses on ensuring the integrity and reliability of stationary assets within AMIC-TOHO's plants, which operates within the materials sector, focusing on specialty chemicals.

Role Purpose

The Engineer, Reliability will provide critical technical support to maintain stationary assets fit for purpose throughout their projected operational life. This involves developing and implementing equipment integrity strategies, primarily utilizing RBI Analysis across all AMIC-TOHO Plants Equipment. The position serves as a central point for all RBI activities, driving the implementation and effectiveness of recommendations to achieve company Reliability KPIs and continuously improve plant asset reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor asset performance, predict equipment failures, and proactively address issues through effective equipment strategies.
• Conduct investigations and failure analyses to identify root causes and develop suitable recommendations for optimal integrity levels.
• Perform technical studies and coordinate with inspection and operation teams regarding unexpected failures or breakdowns of stationary equipment.
• Contribute to the development, review, and update of fixed equipment integrity strategies, including RBI and RCM methodologies.
• Execute technical evaluations for new or review projects, ensuring potential corrosion and materials issues are addressed with a balance of technical and business requirements.
• Participate in various teams and workshops such as RCA, RCM, PHA, and the MOC Committee.
• Develop and maintain quality procedures for health audits of stationary equipment and pipelines, and prepare for audits.
• Collect, prepare, review, and utilize technical data related to plant stationary equipment.
• Study Corrosion Loops for equipment and associated piping to understand potential degradation mechanisms.
• Ensure the effectiveness of RBI study outputs, making periodic revisions and corrections to align with company objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a Reliability culture within the company through KPI monitoring, special tasks, personnel orientation, and identifying training needs.
• Enhance the Reliability RBI culture across Maintenance, Operations, Project, and other relevant departments through frequent awareness initiatives.
• Conduct technical studies, monitor equipment operation, and perform enhancement studies.
• Take proactive actions to ensure equipment integrity and availability for its intended purpose.
• Identify stationary equipment and pipeline "bad actors," perform relevant analysis, and propose remedial measures.
• Prepare the Annual / Master Plan for the RBI analyses program for plant equipment.
• Deliver management presentations as a power user for RBI Analysis and its outcomes.
• Meet overall Equipment Mechanical Integrity program requirements, including legal compliance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Corrosion Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in reliability engineering, preferably within the materials or specialty chemicals sector.

This is a full-time position within AMIC-TOHO TITANIUM METAL Company, located in Yanbu, Al Madinah, KSA. The role involves collaboration with various technical and operational teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of plant asset reliability and mechanical integrity.
