About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSHRC) is seeking a Quality Analyst to support hospital-wide quality provision and planning for an assigned section. This full-time position is based in Medina, Saudi Arabia. The role involves contributing to the hospital's commitment to providing specialized healthcare and an exceptional patient experience within an integrated education and research environment.

Core Responsibilities

The Quality Analyst will be responsible for a range of duties focused on enhancing quality and safety within their assigned section. This includes data management, performance improvement initiatives, and incident investigation.

• Collecting and analyzing data from medical records and other sources, preparing reports with trending and recommendations.
• Participating in Performance Improvement (PI) teams, validating data accuracy for decision support.
• Processing reported incidents in the Safety Reporting System (SRS) and conducting investigations, including root cause analysis for serious events.
• Maintaining databases relevant to the assigned section.
• Performing clinical responsibilities within a related specialty as assigned.
• Participating in assigned committees and taskforces.
• Conducting educational sessions on quality, safety, and customer service.
• Assisting in the implementation of Quality Management and Quality Improvement programs.
• Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Participating in ongoing education and development.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must meet specific educational and experience criteria to be considered for this role.

• Education: A Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related discipline is required.
• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of related experience is required with a Master's Degree, or four (4) years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Credentials

While not mandatory, certain certifications and prior experience are highly advantageous.

• Certification as a Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS).
• Other relevant quality certifications such as CPHRM, Lean, Six Sigma (ASQ or equivalent), or ISQUA.
• Previous experience with Magnet designation or Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation.
