At SLS Red Sea, a Waiter/Server plays a key role in delivering an elevated and dynamic dining experience that is bold, playful, and personal. Reporting to the F&B Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing attentive, high-quality food and beverage service while supporting the overall operation of the outlet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide consistent, professional service of all food and beverage offerings in accordance with hotel SOPs and brand standards.
  • Ensure a smooth flow of daily operations and support the Supervisor in meeting service quality and guest satisfaction goals.
  • Act as a liaison between the kitchen and the service team to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor, anticipating guest needs for an engaging dining experience.
  • Confidently handle guest inquiries, comments, or complaints with a solutions-focused approach.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across the dining area.
  • Use POS systems efficiently for order-taking and billing processes.
  • Monitor product quality and communicate inconsistencies to the Supervisor or Chef.
  • Apply upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and maximize revenue.
  • Assist in daily and weekly inventory checks and proper storage of equipment and supplies.
  • Support the bar operations when required.
  • Attend pre-shift briefings and training sessions.
  • Deliver highly personalized service to all guests, ensuring each feels recognized and valued.

The Role:
As a Waiter, you will play an integral part in delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests. Your role involves providing attentive and courteous service, ensuring that guests' needs are met, and that the overall restaurant environment is welcoming and comfortable. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive personalized, efficient, and friendly service during their dining experience.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests warmly, and escort them to their tables in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly, ensuring all guest preferences are noted.
  • Communicate orders clearly and accurately to the kitchen and bar teams, ensuring all special requests are conveyed.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests according to established service standards, ensuring correct presentation and timing.
  • Attend to guests’ needs throughout their meal, ensuring satisfaction by offering prompt service and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Refill beverages, clear used dishes, and maintain a tidy dining environment.
  • Ensure that tables are clean, set, and ready for new guests, adhering to hygiene and safety guidelines.
  • Be knowledgeable about the menu, daily specials, and any promotions, making recommendations to guests where appropriate.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including keeping service stations stocked and tidy.
  • Ensure that all guests' orders are served with attention to detail and in a timely manner.
  • Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, ensuring safe food handling and maintaining a clean environment.
  • Support the team in ensuring the smooth flow of service during busy periods, assisting colleagues where necessary.
  • Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit card transactions in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with setting up and closing service areas, ensuring all items are cleaned and stored appropriately.
  • Report any customer feedback or complaints to the Restaurant Supervisor or Manager for resolution.
  • Perform any other duties required to ensure the smooth operation of the restaurant and a positive guest experience.
