At Jeddah Prep and Grammar School, we are committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment. As a Teacher of PE, you will play a vital role in supporting students' personal, social, and health needs while ensuring their safety and welfare.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage pupils in learning tasks and activities.
Provide 1:1 or small group support for withdrawn students.
Build positive relationships and promote inclusion and independence.
Assist teachers with lesson preparation, displays, and behaviour management.
Maintain pupil records and report progress or concerns to teachers.
Support curriculum delivery, including literacy, numeracy, and ICT activities.
Prepare and manage classroom resources and equipment.
Follow school policies on safeguarding, health, safety, and confidentiality.
Participate in meetings, training, supervision, and educational visits.

Skills and Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree (Education or equivalent).
2 to 3 years preferred experience in an international school environment.

Job Purpose:
The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for ensuring students' success and helping them reach their full potential by implementing the SABIS® curriculum and philosophy and through the consistent use of the SABIS® teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach classes using provided lesson plans and develop plans as necessary.
Mark student exams and performance in accordance with departmental materials.
Discuss student performance with Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department.
Implement the SABIS® Point System to foster a conducive learning environment.
Provide academic support to low-performing students.
Engage in various administrative duties as assigned by school management.
Participate in activity plans related to student events.
Attend training sessions to enhance understanding of the SABIS® system.
Perform additional tasks as required by school management.
