Role Overview: Specification Sales Engineer, Life Safety Division

Eaton Corporation is seeking a Specification Sales Engineer for the Life Safety Division in Jeddah. This full-time role is responsible for driving sales and market share growth for Eaton's Life Safety products and solutions within the assigned territory. The position focuses on developing and maintaining relationships with consultants, specifiers, contractors, and end-users to ensure Eaton's products are specified and approved for projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for Life Safety products.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by engaging with consultants, specifiers, and key decision-makers in the construction and infrastructure sectors.
• Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to showcase Eaton's Life Safety solutions and their benefits.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, engineering, and customer service, to provide comprehensive solutions and support to clients.
• Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new opportunities and challenges.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and seminars to promote Eaton's brand and network with potential clients.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the sales cycle, from specification to project completion.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to maximize revenue and profitability.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience, with a range of 5-10 years preferred, in technical sales or specification sales, preferably within the Life Safety, Fire Alarm, or Building Management Systems industry.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong technical knowledge of Life Safety products, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is preferred.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Jeddah. The role requires extensive travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients and participate in industry events.
