About the Assistant IT Manager Role

Shangri-La Hotel in Jeddah is seeking an Assistant IT Manager to support the daily operations of the Information Technology Department. This role involves ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems in collaboration with the Information Technology Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the operational status of critical hotel application systems, including Opera PMS, Infrasys POS, Call Accounting System, Check EAM, and Messaging System, as well as associated hardware.
• Address and resolve user-reported issues related to both hardware and application systems.
• Implement and adhere to daily standard IT operating procedures, including checklists and new requirements.
• Develop and enhance application systems to improve departmental operations and overall hotel efficiency.
• Plan and identify opportunities for continuous improvement within IT areas, providing feedback and recommendations to management.
• Uphold and embody Shangri-La Hospitality's Guiding Principles and Core Values.
• Promote environmental responsibility through waste reduction, recycling, and reuse initiatives.
• Ensure familiarity with and compliance with all Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, policies, procedures, guidelines, rules, and regulations, including those from local and national governments.
• Ensure the application of all CSR job-related decisions and activities to meet the hotel's CSR goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a senior analyst/programmer in a large company.
• A degree in Computer Science.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic.
