Jadeer Logistics is seeking a dedicated Full-time Dispatcher to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are prepared to manage and coordinate logistics operations within a dynamic environment.

The Dispatcher Role

As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of driving staff and third-party driver service providers for all outbound and inbound shipments. This involves routing outgoing and incoming orders according to established guidelines for both local and offshore destinations, as well as setting priorities and scheduling deliveries to meet business and client demands effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Support in identifying routing trends and frequency for cost design purposes, covering both local and offshore operations.
• Suggest developments and enhancements to routing methodologies and the use of computer applications, ERP systems, and logistical tools such as road maps, GPS, and real-time tracking.
• Review delivery orders to select the appropriate route and fleet based on destination, shipment size, customer time requirements, and specific technical needs for each delivery address.
• Control driver, truck, and route productivity by ensuring full truck loads and scheduling to minimize reliance on third-party drivers.
• Select specific trucks for each route based on volume and equipment availability.
• Develop a sufficient number of picking routes for warehouse, yard, and terminal staff.
• Maintain a daily dispatch log detailing start times, driver information, route numbers, and material handling equipment required for each delivery truck.
• Maintain the road net database, including customer locations, time windows, and other relevant information as directed.
• Investigate business and client complaints regarding lost or damaged goods or shipment shortages to determine responsibility, documented in the Daily Delivery Report (DDR).
• Schedule shipments to ensure compliance with On-Time Delivery (OTD) regulations and company policy, enforcing all OTD standards.
• Schedule time to ride with drivers to evaluate delivery areas, verify accuracy, and ensure high customer service standards are met.
• Perform routine filing and maintenance of records.
• Provide the Daily Delivery Report (DDR) with details on deviations such as missed, damaged, or corrupted deliveries, and fleet performance.

Additional Duties

• Attend Management meetings as required.
• Undergo monthly performance reviews conducted by the line manager.
• Fulfill any other related duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A local driving license is required.
• Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience.
