About the Role

proven is seeking a Purchase Specialist to manage international purchasing activities within the medical and healthcare sector. This full-time position, based in Jeddah, requires a professional with strong hands-on experience in sourcing and purchasing from global markets, including North America and Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end international purchasing and procurement activities for medical equipment and products.
• Source and coordinate purchases from international suppliers across global markets.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and reliability.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery terms.
• Coordinate with international suppliers regarding quotations, orders, shipments, and delivery schedules.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with suppliers where required.
• Monitor purchase orders and follow up on outstanding shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand purchasing requirements and ensure products meet specifications.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier documentation, and procurement reports.
• Support the procurement team in maintaining strong supplier relationships and achieving cost-effective purchasing.

Qualifications and Experience

• Strong experience in international purchasing is required.
• Demonstrated experience dealing with suppliers across North America, Asia, and other international markets.
• Proven experience handling purchase orders, supplier coordination, quotations, and international shipments.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple purchasing activities simultaneously.

Preferred Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
• Experience in the medical products industry.
