About the Role

Saudi Service Company Limited (SSCL) is seeking a Risk Change & Business Continuity Lead to join their team in the Makkah Region, specifically in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience in risk management and related disciplines.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Risk Change & Business Continuity Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to manage risks, ensure business continuity, and oversee change management processes. This role involves close coordination with operations and maintenance teams to ensure effective risk mitigation and the smooth operation of critical facilities.

  • Represent SSCL in management meetings and coordinate internal efforts for risk mitigation plan execution.
  • Review site work, prepare Risk Assessments and Mitigation Plans for O&M activities, and provide team training.
  • Develop and maintain a Risk Register for critical assets including Power, Water, Cooling, and Roads.
  • Analyze the technical impact of failures on operations and establish proactive mitigation plans.
  • Assess risks throughout the Asset Life Cycle to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Prepare and update Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Resiliency Plans for core utility services.
  • Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) to prioritize responses during system failures.
  • Design and execute simulation exercises (Drills) for major technical failures.
  • Evaluate technical risks associated with changes in equipment, systems, or maintenance procedures.
  • Link engineering change requests to the Risk Register to ensure facility security and safety.
  • Develop technical procedures to sustain improvements from R&D initiatives.
  • Manage Disaster Recovery (DR) protocols for rapid restoration of essential services.
  • Develop Contingency Plans, such as deploying temporary generators or alternative cooling solutions.
  • Ensure all engineering solutions comply with GACA requirements and international safety standards at KAIA.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of relevant professional experience in risk management, change management, business continuity, or project management.
  • Experience in the aviation sector is required.
  • Professional certifications such as RMP (Risk Management Professional), CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), or ISO 31000 Lead Risk Manager are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Saudi National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) guidelines.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position located in the Makkah Region, covering the cities of Jeddah and Makkah.
