About the Store Manager Role

Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations in Jeddah. This role is responsible for achieving sales targets, developing store teams to maximize profitability, maintaining brand image, ensuring operational compliance, and delivering an excellent customer experience. The Store Manager will be fully accountable for the store's daily operations and workforce in alignment with the company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the delivery of the highest levels of customer service by the entire store team.
• Develop innovative strategies to attract new customers, increase store traffic, and enhance profitability.
• Monitor brand performance, review stock levels, and analyze best-selling and slow-moving items to develop action plans for sales improvement.
• Provide analytical feedback to Operations, Buying, and Planning Departments regarding product, assortment, pricing, competitive activities, and market opportunities.
• Maintain overall accountability for subordinates' compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, including those related to funds, property, personnel practices, security, sales, and record-keeping.
• Coach, train, and mentor store teams to improve customer service through enhanced brand/product knowledge and retail understanding.
• Ensure adherence to all Company Health & Safety, Security, and Compliance policies, reporting any concerns to the Excellence and Compliance team promptly.
• Plan, organize, and execute in-store processes, including cash handling, stockroom management, and stock-take administration.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of industry experience, with a proven background in management.
• Demonstrated success in maximizing business performance.
• A solid understanding of main customer segments and the ability to guide the team in understanding them.
• Ability to identify critical paths and proactively engage stakeholders to ensure timely decision-making.
• Capacity to make decisive actions and determine when to make a call versus delegate upwards.

Work Environment
